Meet Your Team

Within the Customer Services and Delivery (CS&D) board area, as Global CoE organization we focus on SAP’s top customers under the umbrella of Premium Engagement contracts. The key objective is to establish and manage long-term engagement relations between the customer and SAP. We are achieving this through a pro-active and holistic engagement approach specific for premium delivery.

You’ll have the chance to design and optimize complex IT landscapes, on which our customers run their businesses. Your area of responsibility will extend to deep technology root cause analysis and introduction of best practices for operations at complex implementation.

To facilitate the growth of our business unit, we are looking for people with diverse technical and customer engagement backgrounds to join our Centers of Expertise around the world. You will become part of a great team of smart technical and customer engagement professionals, where there are great opportunities for growth and there is tremendous potential for specialized development of your skills.

 

What You’ll Do

As CoE Engineer/expert for SAP systems, analyze performance bottlenecks (system wide or business process wise) on Application, Database or OS level of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives.

You can grow fast in being a top expert on SAP technologies like NetWeaver ABAP platform, databases, etc. and their root cause analysis/optimization. You have to be a good team player but also you need the ability to independently drill down into technical issues and solve difficult problems.

A good communication skill is a must as we engage with customer IT representatives on a daily basis.

 

Your Key Tasks

· System administration and troubleshooting

· SAP system management and performance tuning skills

· Exposure to BASIS and Database upgrade/migration activities

· Hands on experience with SAP tools for troubleshooting and optimization activities

· ABAP Code/SQL and related tuning concepts

· Supports in de-escalations of critical customer situations

· Executes technical feasibility studies / solution reviews (if applicable)

· Supports customers on technical requirements throughout their lifecycle within the SAP products

 

What You’ll Bring

· 0-3 Years’ working experience in a professional setting, with SAP applications experience would be a plus.

· Graduated with a Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

· Excellent communication skills and fluent in both verbal and written English.

· Strong problem analysis and solving skills.

· Self-motivated, open minded and ability to learn new areas and technologies quickly.

· A good team player with good presentation and time management skills.

· Knowledge of industry and SAP Basis solution is a plus.

· Willingness to travel to customer sites (up to 30%) and interested in customer support oriented work with a results-oriented approach.
